Jessica Jack Wyrick is a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based artist working in non-fiction, feature, poetry and copywriting, and also photography, video, and sound. Her primary interests include travel, art, music, food, documentary, advertising, and humanitarian topics. Aside from writing and digital capture, Jessica also specializes in lomographic photography methods including advanced Polaroid methods, medium-and large-format photography, and platinum-palladium photographic printing. Her primary bodies of work include written and photographic documentary studies of Thai monastic life, women’s issues in Haitian public health and agriculture, and cultural studies of spirituality, Southern Gothica, and The Deep South.
Jack is currently the Senior Copywriter (Wordmaster) at CreateHere in Chattanooga, TN. CreateHere is a non-profit dedicated to arts, economic, and cultural development. Their mission is to engage Chattanoogans to express their ideas, organize around common purposes, and take action in order to make Chattanooga the most dynamic, creative and entrepreneurial city in the world.
